- Title
-
- Full length cape with cord at shoulders and openings.
- Description
-
- Cord detailing lends this coat a military aspect. The cords at the shoulders suggest epaulets, while those running down the front to the armholes suggest the loops of braid worn looped over and under the shoulder (an "aguilette") of a staff officer.
- "Image includes small sketch of back of garment. It's interesting to speculate on how the fastening at the neck would work, as it appears to be two cords, one crossing the other, with the means of joining hidden inside the cape."
