- Description
-
- Printed on image: "André" "Import K / 10"
- Printed on image: "One enormous godet in back" (A "godet" is a triangular section of fabric with a semicircular bottom, set into the hem of a coat or skirt to make it fuller and looser.)
- The back of the coat, with its wide flare, is the main image here, with the double-breasted front shown in a smaller drawing. Also, the figure is smoking -- very glamorous in the 1930s!
