- Title
-
- Slim boxy coat with tuck treatment at shoulders and "club"-shaped fastenings.
- Description
-
- Image includes small sketch of back of garment.
- The fastenings of this coat are interesting, in that they could be buttons or just decorations. The three-lobed shapes (like the suit of clubs in a deck of cards) could pass through buttonholes and hang outside, or could just be decorations on the surface of a flap that closes inside with clips or hook-and-eye fasteners.
- Printed on image: "Slim boxy coat with tucks at shoulders released to give softness to body." "Designed by Pearl Alexander" "André 570 - 7th Avenue New York City December 16, 1940"
