- Navy wool reefer with red facings on cuffs and lining ("revers"). The revers is the lining of a garment, especially when it is meant to show by being folded back in cuffs or lapels. The pockets are "patch" pockets, sewn to the outside of the coat. Note the seams on the back of the stockings!
- Image includes a small sketch of the front of the garment, as the larger, main view shows it from the back.
- Printed on image: "Red facings on cuffs and revers[.] Three brass buttons on back belt[.]" "designed by Pearl Alexander" "André 570 - 7th Avenue New York City December 16, 1940"
